Our Therapists
I’m proud and honored to employ and supervise this caring and competent Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapists in my practice. Together we expand our expertise to include specialties of grief and loss, women-focused issues, mind / body / soul work, and depth informed therapy.
Why does collaboration and teamwork help create better healing communities?
As Psychotherapists, we each gravitate toward theoretical orientations, specialties, and professional experiences that guide us in becoming the type of therapist we are today. Every year we take continuing education learning experiences to keep up with current research and subjects in our field and specialties. With the wide range of areas and expertise in psychotherapy, it is impossible for any one of us to be and expert in everything. In addition, we realize that we may have very human responses to our clients and their treatment that prevents us from seeing all relevant aspects of treatment. Because of that, Psychotherapists have a long history of professional consultation that strictly holds our client’s confidentiality while gaining crucial information about cases. This specific type of consultation helps us make sound clinical decisions, gain wisdom of experts, and build our cultural competency. Our team approach utilizes regular consultation and our clients benefit from the results.
What is an Associate?
Associates have graduated with a Master’s degree or higher in a counseling field such as Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, or Professional Counselor. They have had clinical training and experience in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and various interventions. They are completing their 3,000 hours of therapeutic experience under the supervision of a licensed therapist to sit for their clinical licensing exam.
What is an Affiliate?
Affiliates are independent, licensed psychotherapists who consult, share resources and referrals, and create a more comprehensive therapeutic experience for clients. Therapists often get asked for referrals for a family member or close friend of a client. This may create a conflict or dual relationship for the therapist and a need to refer that friend or family member to a colleague that they trust and has the expertise that might be a good fit. We aim to have Affiliates who have a wide range of expertise, cultural competencies, clinical experience, and complimentary theoretical orientations. We nurture these professional relationships to make our practices stronger. Often we will provide crisis coverage for when your therapist takes a vacation and will open up our trainings and clinical resources at a discounted rate to clients.

Meet Natasha
Believes that strong relationships make health humans and communities. Relationships with ourselves, our families, friends, co-workers, communities, and our environment can be complex and challenging. For over a decade Natasha has been working as a Marriage and Family Therapist working with families, couples, and individuals exploring the impact of individual and generational trauma and learning to have deeper and more meaningful relationships.
Prior to this work, Natasha worked in the fields of education, non-profit management, disaster preparedness and response, public health, and aquatics.
Her family systems-based, somatic, mindfulness, eco-psychotherapy, and attachment-based theoretical lenses inform the approach she takes in working with clients and supervising pre-licensed therapists.
Natasha’s interests in the intersections of nature, creativity, and wellness both personally and professionally inspired her in becoming a Certified Veriditas Labyrinth Facilitator. She offers workshops and experiences in sharing ways of being in relationship with oneself and others by learning about and walking labyrinths.
She also believes that our human relationship with other-than-human nature is an important aspect of life. Her on-going personal and professional projects range from facilitating healing circles and retreats to growing her own creative practices. Collaborative work with others continues to inspire and inform ways to meaningfully contribute to the emerging field of Ecopyschotherapy.
It is likely that if you cross paths with her outside of the office, you may be in a local garden or bookstore, sauntering about, or around a campfire. Otherwise, she’s hanging out somewhere in a hammock, engaging in one of many hobbies, or talking with friends and family about new projects.
Feel free to connect with Natasha on Instagram @natashamft_ or connect with her at (626) 321-5869.

Meet Christina
Christina is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in working with adult clients who are perfectionists, go-getters or empaths. These are people who pay attention to others’ feelings before their own; who feel deeply; are tightly wound and rarely take breaks; are critical of themselves despite being compassionate towards others. She supports these clients in finding more balance in their lives, learning to be less self-critical, building a healthy relationship between mind and body and dreaming big. Christina is also a clinical supervisor for newly graduated therapists and finds this part of the work incredibly rewarding.
When not working, Christina enjoys snuggling with her cat Manny, reading a book, spending time exploring her home town, or traveling the country and the world.

Meet Amani
Living in the moment means letting go of the past and not waiting for the future. It means living your life consciously, aware that each moment you breathe is a gift.
~ Oprah Winfrey
My name is Amani Odom and I was born and raised in the beautiful city of sunshine and palm trees; Los Angeles, CA. Born into a family of Black social service advocates and leaders I grew up with an undying love for my community and compassionate about nurturing it.
As a clinician with a Masters in Social Work, (MSW) and a registered Licensed Clinical Social Worker ( #114538), I provide services throughout Los Angeles county, virtually and in-person targeting both adolescents and adults. Having received my MSW from the University of Southern California and Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, I have also worked as a Children’s Social Worker with the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). I am a witness to the family stories of trauma, racism, environmental and social injustices that negatively impact family structures. This experience influenced my desire to become a clinician to support the healing process of individuals subject to historical life events and current circumstances which circumvent individuals from accessing their full potentials and their capacity to influence their lives with efficacy.
With longevity in clinical practice, I work with individuals facing life transitions, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, trauma and other issues that stymie hope and joy, desires and dreams; and life goals. Adjusting and adapting to life’s moments and experiences can be both fulfilling and challenging. As a collaborative partner, I will assist exploring and facing the trials that hinder moving to the next chapter of one’s life. By employing evidenced-based practices and interventions that are tailored to meet individual needs, we write that next chapter.
Once a decision is made to move forward, the individual will define next steps, and will ultimately decide the road to be traveled. I provide a containing and regulating space and supportive interventions for this. Congratulations on taking the step to embrace your journey fully!

You are here for a reason. You may not have ever imagined yourself in therapy before, but you know something needs to change.
You have parts of yourself you keep hidden from everyone—parts you don’t even like to look at yourself. Fear, anger, jealousy, insecurity—these are your shadow parts. You keep them in the dark, wishing they would go away. You try to be better, braver, kinder. Still, they follow you.
It can be scary and overwhelming to step into the shadows of your self, but there is deep wisdom to be found in the darkness. The feelings you have been avoiding are trying to tell you something—will you listen?
I am a companion for those who wish to learn what their shadow sides can teach them. I help my clients explore their hidden parts. I provide a place of acceptance and safety so that you can integrate your shadow parts and finally feel whole.
If you are ready to discover the wisdom you hold within, contact me for a free consultation.

The desire to support individuals in their journey is what brought me to this work and is what continues to inspire me daily. With an empathic perspective and understanding for how everyone’s experience is unique, I work from a positive psychology, strengths-based outlook that is rooted in the foundational belief that empowering others to share and shape their stories is integral to healing and growth.
I am a graduate of Pepperdine University’s Master’s in Clinical Psychology program with an MFT emphasis, and I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of California – Santa Barbara. I am also a member of the Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology, have training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and have experience working with a range of therapeutic modalities, including, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused/CBT Therapy, and Psychodynamic therapy.
It is a privilege to be entrusted with what people hold sacred within their hearts and minds. Whether I might be of service through individual work, couples counseling, or connecting individuals with needed resources, I am committed to supporting others as they pursue healing or meaning-making for what matters to them and their lives.

You are tired of grieving alone, and there’s so much you want to express but it’s hard to talk with many friends, family, or others. You go back and forth between fear and anger, and often feel stuck in your grief. Sometimes you prefer to feel numb to it and other times you wish you could burrow into your grief. You know the answer is not to “move on” but you struggle with how to “move forward” in a way that is right for you. It makes you wonder if you are doing all this “correctly.” It seems like you are finally ready to reach out.
I understand the pain, confusion, and exhaustion of losing someone we love. I became a grief therapist so I can help my clients stay connected with their loved ones across the divide of life-and-death. There is a hole in all our hearts in the shape of the people we’ve lost. While we can never fill that hole, we can take good care of our love and we don’t need to suffer in silence.
I care because I know how hard it is to keep living without that special person who died. I believe people can suffer less in their grief journey and that none of us have to walk alone if we don’t want to.
Even though we all feel pain and suffer at times, we do not need to suffer alone. Perhaps the opposite of suffering is not “no suffering.” The opposite of suffering is connection. Connection to others (including those who are no longer with us physically but still in our hearts), ourselves, and with this one precious life we all have.
Things have been hard but they are about to get better, they can get better; call now.

As a somatic and mindfulness practitioner I work with you to help you develop awareness of your present moment. When we get stuck in our head our thoughts run away with us. We dwell on the past or the future which leads to depression and anxiety. We can work together to help align the mind and body to work together. Mind body awareness helps to cultivate equilibrium and balance.
I work with couples to help them understand defense mechanisms. In this way couples can learn to see, hear and understand each other. This practice cultivates love, healthy accommodation and boundaries, and respect for one another. I have a great passion for helping couples reclaim their flame.
I work with the LGBTQ community as a support to help navigate a world in which many are often persecuted and made to feel other. I have helped many people navigate what it mean to experience the voice of gender from within, rather than from the viewpoint of an oppressive patriarchy. I helped individuals and couples navigate relationships for which there are no norms. I also work to navigate, understand, and feel confident with sex and sexuality.
I work somatically as well to cultivate regulation and attunement with those who have suffered from trauma and PTSD. Most people will never understand what it feels like to live in a traumatized body and psyche. Allow me to help you navigate new ways to exist in your your own body, as well as in your relationships. By developing awareness of how your body gets triggered, together we can find ways of forming new and healthy pathways. You do not need to feel isolated, as an outsider, or lonely, these are often symptoms of experiencing extreme or long term trauma.
